It is easy to prevent but difficult and costly to cure. Sentinel also prevents the flea eggs from hatching. When combined with the Bravecto, the combination prevents all of the stages of the flea. Vectra 3D is recommended for dogs who frequent wooded areas or go to the lake as it not only kills fleas, ticks, mosquitoes, and biting flies, but also repels them. Advantix is a topical tick, mosquito, and biting fly repellent that also kills adult fleas. Advantix can be used on dogs and puppies that are over 7 weeks in age, weighing 4 or more pounds and must be applied monthly.
